I’ve known about Maxine’s work for a VERY long time, in fact Maxine’s brand, Little Miss Delicious was founded the very same year I started this blog (back in 2009 when I was Jayne’s Kitschen instead) so it’s awesome to see her grow and evolve over the years and despite all the stress associated with running a small business, still keep going and continue being awesome.
Read to the end for a tasty little discount code for Little Miss Delicious…
The main line is a collection of hand sculpted, hand painted and hand glazed polymer clay charms on a variety of jewellery formats. Everything is along one of my favourite themes too, kawaii food with faces which has now expanded to feature more variety of creatures and creations too. Each one of these beauties must take Maxine at least 3 days to complete when you take into account all the days of paint drying, clay baking and glaze drying. Plus, as Maxine doesn’t use templates or cutters, each piece is entirely unique. Don’t you think that’s pretty damn amazing?
Over the years the collection has also expanded to include felt plushies in the form of cushions, bunting and decorations as well as a kooky edit of Japanese inspired kawaii gifts and stationary AND a lovely selection of ethical soaps and bodycare.
If you’d like to get 15% off your next order Maxine’s kindly given me this discount code that you can use until 13th November: KITSCH15
Let me know if you spot anything else awesome and indie that you think I ought to check out! And get involved sharing some #IndieLove yourself if you feel like it.
