There’s a new Hello Kitty collaboration on it’s way and praise the goddess of kawaii that it’s not pink! I can’t remember a time in my life where I wasn’t drawn to this simplistic kitten character, although officially Hello Kitty isn’t a cat, but that’s another story. Today’s story is about this kick-ass collaboration with PUMA to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of their suede shoe design.
For a long time, almost everything Hello Kitty that launched in Europe was predominately pink, I don’t like pink. The only time I wear the shade is if it’s in lipstick or blusher form. So I’m very glad that they chose this retro red & white colour combo instead.
Customers can discover the collection from 8th February 2018, I don’t have details on which UK/Europe stockists will hold the range just yet, but if I find out I’ll add it here. I’m sure this collection won’t be around for long though, as it’s perfectly executed.
In addition to the shoes, which will be available in adult and children’s sizes. The PUMA x Hello Kitty collection will also feature a tracksuit, t-shirt, baseball hat, drawstring bag, backpack and a t-shirt. Making it possible to leave the house head-to-toe PUMA x Hello Kitty, just like Wendy from Nitrolicious did.
Although I don’t dig every single piece, the transparent plastic detailing hasn’t sold me. I really do love the red track suit and the trainers. Easy to wear, practical and comfortable with an adorable Hello Kitty milk bottle themed print. The shoes are on the top of my wishlist.
If you spot anything else cute, kawaii or colourful that you think I should feature, drop me a tweet @JayneKitsch.
