It’s Summer and time for another hair colour change. I’ve had blue or purple hair for the past six months whilst I recovered my hair from too much harsh treatments and some mess ups with dye, also known as don’t use three high levels of bleach products within the same week unless you want to kill your hair. So, time to get the new look Scott Cornwall range in and get the hair updated.

Here’s a little hair care brand that you’ve probably never heard of. NHP or Natural Hair Program is a natural, sulphate free, organic and eco-friendly range and I’ve been testing out some shampoo and conditioner from their Nutri-Argan range.

I’ve officially had weird coloured hair for over a year now, I had bright orange and bright red for about a year and then went into the territory of blues, purples and greens. I’m pretty sure my hair is just stained blue now and due to a little bleach mishap I’m going to be sticking to this tone for a while longer. Today, I’m going to tell you a little about my latest hair dye trial and shade.

So, I recently discovered what happens when you mess with your hair too much and am in the process of bringing it back to health, thought this might be a useful post for many of you. I bleached my hair for the first time ever about three months ago and then made the mistake of doing three other strong treatments within a week of it, with the dye I use (typically Directions semi-permanent) it doesn’t harm your hair and it’s very conditioning, but when you use something strong with chemicals like peroxide or ammonia in them, that’s when things can get messy.

So 2014 was eventful too right? Not only did I meet Miz, who I’ve been with almost a year now, I also changed my hair colour a gazillion times. Since my hair dye blog posts are so popular and everyone seems to like to know how I got to certain shades and what products I […]
Last time I tried Bleach London I wasn’t too impressed, you can read my review of their Tangerine Dream shade here. This time, I was in desperate need of some red or orange dye and stumbled upon a bottle of this in my bathroom, since my hair was pretty much a mess already I though […]
So prior to my most recent colour change I tried bleaching my hair for the first time ever before going Directions Apple Green, Plum and Atlantic Blue. I’ve never bleached my hair before and it was quite a scary thing to do as it really does dry out your hair and make it go a […]
Here’s a brand new product on the market for you today, Bouffe Dry Spray. It launched in August exclusive to Boots and claims to be a brand new category in hair styling. This isn’t a dry shampoo, it’s a dry spray! Although it has very similar properties to a dry shampoo and can be used […]
I don’t ever get that excited about shampoos or conditioners, it’s something that I don’t experiment with much as if I find something that works I generally just stick with it, but when I heard about the science behind Deciem’s hair creation, Grow Gorgeous I couldn’t help but be intrigued by it, wondering if something […]
So, I’ve been living in Brighton for about a month now, pretty much as soon as I got here I knew I needed to find a hairdresser pronto! Although I’ve gotten quite confident at trimming my own Bettie bangs with Miz’s clippers, the ends of my hair were starting to look quite ratty and although […]
