It really is a challenge to do outfit posts at this time of year, it’s a blogger cliche but it’s so true! Natural light makes life so much easier. It’s even more challenging when you run out of batteries for your external flash which is usually the life saver in this situation. Anyway, time for a new outfit post shot by Miz in the hallways of our block of flats, turned out pretty nice.

Turns out our bedroom can be transformed into a photo studio given the right lighting, so I got Miz to snap some pics of my latest PJ addition from the Paul Frank collection from Primark and mess about a bit for these silly photos.

It’s true, I really don’t ever wear grey, let along something that was plain grey with nothing really very exciting going on. This dress is pretty much the last thing I would ever pick up if I was browsing the shops. However, I think I actually really like it.

It’s almost no coat weather here in Brighton, but in that annoying way that it looks really sunny and then you go outside and realise that it’s all lies and it’s just as cold as it was last week. That’s why I’m all about layers at the moment! I can’t wait for the warmer weather and being able to sit on the beach again without shivering or getting a numb bum.

Another weird negative thing about being freelance and working from home which I didn’t mention in my previous post about going freelance is about the way you dress. When you work from home, as you can imagine it’s all about being comfortable and you very easily become lazy about getting dressed and certainly when you do […]
So, it’s October and it’s still not cold enough for a coat? What’s that all about? Well, it’s raining today in Brighton but yesterday it was another super sunny day, fresh with a cold air but still no need for boots or a coat. We headed to the local park so that Miz could practise […]
The Black Milk collection continues to grow and they have well and truly converted me to wearing leggings, in some ways. Obviously if you’re wearing Primark quality black leggings that are too small for you and you can see your knickers and even your cellulite through them, that’s totally not a good move. However, when […]
Do you want to know another awesome thing about Brighton? They build playgrounds knowing that adults will want to play on them too. I swear this playground near our house is way bigger than it actually needs to be for children and naturally, we had to investigate! In the name of fashion blogging, of course. […]
So there were a few fails with this outfit post. 1. We waited until the evening to shoot, so I’m shattered and my make up is looking tired and we’d been to Brighton so I’m a bit windswept and 2. The lighting was weird, so Miz is making a little appearance in shadow form. Oh […]
Gosh I’ve been busy! After that run of weekly outfit posts earlier in the year thanks to Miz, we’ve both been a bit busy (tired and lazy) to do any new ones, but this weekend on a wandering around Shoreditch, we thought we’d shoot some new ones, with this epic backdrop of some of the […]
