The original title for this blog was “Was Suicide Squad Actually Shit?”, but I changed it because I thought I’d be a little more polite in my title. Anyway, first off I want to have a rant about how frustrating it is to have something you’ve been SO stoked about to be ruined within days of its launch because of the internet. Thanks internet for putting a massive downer on my excitement and making me reluctant to even go and see the damn film. It’s not like I can avoid all the comments and negative reviews either, I work on the internet, I see this shit all day long.

If you’ve been following me for a while you know that I’ve become very DIY with my hair colouring and cutting, generally because I really struggle to find salons and hairdressers that I click with. Yesterday, I went to try out a new Brighton based salon and get a new cut and colour from Creative Director, George, who has actually been recommended to me a gazillion times from when he was based elsewhere, so yea, it was fate that we work together!

We were sent a JORD wood watch to review and as I’m not really a watch wearer (merely just an admirer) I thought this honour best go to Miz who actually really liked the look of these wooden watches for himself. Read on to find out a little bit more about this unusual watch brand in Miz’s own words.

I LOVE EOS as a brand, everything I’ve tried is amazing and they use 100% natural ingredients and 95% organic which is quite rare in beauty, plus they’re cruelty free and have a unique, playful design. Just in time for Christmas, the awesome BeautyMART have ordered in this snazzy gift collection which is just lovely.

Can you believe I’ve been blogging since 2006 and never laid a hand on anything from Dermalogica until now?! I think it’s because I used to work for one of their competitors and when I work for a brand I develop this weird loyalty towards the brand so that (even to this day) it kinda deterred me from checking them out properly. Weird I know. Anyway, I’ve been test driving some of their best sellers over the past few weeks.

So I previously reviewed the SheaMoisture Shampoo and Conditioner from their SuperFruit collection and since discovering the brand it’s been the only range me and Miz have been using, really have a lot of love for this brand. For the last month or so we’ve been trying their Raw Shea shampoo and conditioner too.

So I’ve featured NerdBlock and Miz has had Lootcrate before which are both geeky subscription boxes from the States, think Glossybox but for comics, films and video games. Today, I’m sharing my first ever MyGeekBox which is the main version of this treat that comes solely from the UK. I was sent their October box which had the theme of Afterlife.

Last month, I reported about one of my favourite brands, Sugarpill launching a very special limited edition palette to celebrate the Edward Scissorhands 25th Anniversary, I’m pleased to say that I’ve got one! And it’s beautiful. I’ve created two looks with it to show you the diversity and performance of the colours. I got mine from UK seller, CutECOsmetics, they’re out at the moment but I believe they are getting one more shipment so keep an eye out for this limited edition beauty!
