So I’ve done a Poison Ivy costume before a couple of years ago for my birthday and it was pretty much perfect, really was pleased with that one so please check it out! That time it was inspired by the Uma Thurman film version, this time I was messing around with some new products and decided to do my own inspired by. I wanted to do the Hush version of Poison Ivy as I’ve recently read the comic, but with the lack of green face paint I thought this would be nice instead.

So, as I mentioned in my previous hair colouring post I’m currently combating fast fading hair, it’s on its way back to being manageable but at the moment I’m topping up the colour more than normal. A few weeks ago, I went red for a short lived period using a mix of Superdrug Ultra Brights Rebellious Red and Colour Freedom Crimson Red, also from Superdrug.

So when hair is freshly stripped or processed you always find that no matter what dye you put on your hair it fades about 10 times faster than at any other time. The reason my blue hair stayed blue so much is that I built up layers of colours and avoided stripping it, just kept adding instead. Anyway, needed a colour stop up of the green so was excited to try the Fudge Paintbox dyes.

DREAM PALETTE ALERT! You know me, I like to be creative with make up and I like cakes. So when Too Faced brought out a palette with a mix of neutral and colourful shades all encased in a macaron printed tin, I knew it was going to be love.

I rediscovered some unloved products this week that had been lurking in my make up box for a while without a single use! As some of you are aware I hate the colour pink, unless it’s for cheeks or lips, so that’ll be the focus of today’s post.

I spotted this brand originally on British Beauty Blogger and it immediately caught my eye, mainly because of the sleek, modern packaging and bright colours. However, this isn’t your ordinary nail polish, it’s pretty unique.

For some bizarre reason my hair seems to be coping really well with being blue. It doesn’t need too much attention and now I’ve stopped pissing around with harsh chemicals and bleach as long as I top up the colour every month or so it’s looking good. I normally use Directions hair dye, but they […]
